A few days ago i read abt the wrestler and his family being found dead. I thought it was murder but i just came to know that he smothered his son, strangled his wife and hanged himself?!!Can you believe it?! They happen to find anabolic steriods at his house?!Wonder how he had the heart to murder his 7 yr boy!?!Sicko!

A few mins ago i read that director jeeva had cardiac arrest and died. He was in the midst of shooting Dham Dhoom!!!He is just 43 years old man!For those you who can;t read tamil-> he directed,12b,ullam ketkume & unnale unnale.

Then there was this singaporean athlete who died during a trialathon?!He is a very young chap.

I always think what the loved ones have to go through when one dies. Its such a heartbreak?!sob..We will never know what is going to happen in the next moment thats why we should always treasure our loved ones. Be it friends or family. Some dimwits just don't seem to get though...no point crying over split milk. People have only become more selfish & self-centred?!!

Lousy food..

I was called for this gathering at samy's curry house at dempsey rd. Till saturday i dint know where it existed?!!!i was super clueless of its location luckily i saw 2 angels who resuced me and brought me to the exact place. Actually they are part of the group.:) Thank God!

The so called restaurant is hiding beneath trees. In fact its an old british quaters?!!! Think WW II?! Its such a dilapitated place. The toilets were creepy.... It was flooded & choked!! There wasn't any water running when you press the tap?!!!The place was just engulfed in darkness & tress?!!!The seats were rusty & old?!!!! My expat colleagues thought it gave a rustic feel to it?!!! Yeah rite..

They thoroughly enjoyed the food. For me its was way below medicore. YOU see thats what happen when you got to a indian restaurant with caucasians?!!They duno the difference betwween indian food & good indian food?!!!:p In short, the food sucked!!!I would never pay so much $$ for such food!!(which infact i did:( ) I dint not have any choice.There are superior food available at little india.... It sounds like a total rip off .Majority of customers were made of caucasians.. Any guess ..y?
I was so famished when i went home that i ended up drinking chocolate milk..sob....

Sivaji will definitely bring tamil cinema to the world(its recreating history as of now). As prakashraj puts it, Bollywood IS NOT INDIAN CINEMA!!!There is more to it.Its really infuriating when people only know srk & ash.. handsome & fair actors with colourful (read as expensive) clothings and believe thats good indian cinema!For e.g, IIFA-> international indian film awards... i dun remember any films besides bollywood getting any awards????!! it should be renamed as IBFA->international bollywood film awards!!!There are fantastic films in malayalam, telugu, kannada..or even bengali or punjabi movies.They never get recognised...:(

Tamil directors should start promoting their movies in film fests and have subtitles in it!! That will definitely make a HUGE difference.

Back to Sivaji, its already a WORLDWIDE SUPER HIT!!!!I mite see it again but the ticket price is not welcoming me.

Sivaji Rockz?!!!

Finally the D day arrived... i watched the much awaited magnum opus "Sivaji"!!!!Its worth a all those wait!:) I had to purchase the tix last sunday to catch it yest?!!sounds a bit kiasu na? Surprisingly the cinema was 90% full!!!(this only happens for rajini pix!)

All the songs were soooo spectacular 7 colourful. juz no words to describe them. I think nayantara was not needed in that "balilekke" song since it had too much goin.. My mouth was wide a open after each song... and i couldnt help but sing along whenever a song appeared...:)

Rajini outfits were absolutely fantastic.. thanks to manish malhotra. he should keep him in all his upcomiong movies. when have u ever seen him dress so stylishly?!! If you noticed, rajini was wearing blue.. and contacts..kekekek..Shreya outfits were mouth-watering...

Viviek n rajini comedy was super hilarious.. even vivek was dressed well..kekeke.. oh.. sivaji's house was ohh.. soo.. beautiful..

Suman was scary lookin... can't believe he acted as lord rama?!!! Great come back ya! i read taht Nizhalgal ravi dubbed for him.. doesnt even sound like him... great job!:) there were alot of artistes doing a small bits roles. Shankar ,KV Anand & Thotta tharani even appeared for a brief moment in the title song?!!!

I couldnt help myself but i screamed & cheered thru out e movie...kekekekek...The fighting scenes were kool... but maybe it would have been kool if it was someone younger... I think rajini has tried his level best..(dun forget he is 56?!)I think even his grandson will be his fan after seein this movie..hahahahahahah...

I dun think there can be any other movie which can be even more spectacular & lusciuous?!! A fantastic treat for all rajini fans!! Dun wait to catch it vcds.. this should be seen in the theatres to soak in everything...

Its been rough..or has it?

The much talked about Water show was splendid!!!Wonder how long they were rehearsing it?usually people prefer dance performances to musicals but persoanlly i think musicals are absolutely difficult!!! coz if one person makes a mistake e entire orchestra wil be affected.It won't sound good but dance is not like that... You can always make adjustments & only a pro will notice it.
They announced that there is a another upcoming show on August on bharathanatya & odissi. Power man!

Btw this may sound weird after the "Water" show .. there was a HUGE downpour. It did not stop for a loong time. (guess they called out to Ganga)We waited & waited but to no avail.My colleagues took a cab n left so we took a chance and walked to raffles mrt station!!!There was thunder & lightening!?Our beautiful looking outfits were totally drenched. En vaazhkahail mudhal murai yaage....(read like those suntv ads) i took off my heels n walked bare foot to the UOB building..kekekek..couldnt take the risk from slipping man...

Anyways alot of controversies are floating around my workplace. I really want rebecca to stay. Just when i get to know her better she is leaving, We all suspect that pisasu won't be renewing her contract!!! parachi la!I dunno how she choose people.Im really going to miss her. Whats more pisasu is coming down today..i think she is not coming to my side as yet.. i really dun want to c her?!!!I have kinda started my job hunting now. Lets c how... will start full throttel soon!

Oops be4 i forget, i managed to get a new mp3.. i mean im getting another within 6mths i bought e old one. Wonder how long this will last!Furthermore i collected my "dhabba" samsung hp for the 3rd time!!!!URGH!! The bloody customer service guy jus irritated me!I jus felt like slapping him!!!SAMSUNG & SONY ERICCSSON SUX BIG TIME!Please refrain from purchasing this brand!!!!

Synposis
Set in rural South India, a place where social barriers are built stronger than fort walls, VANAJA explores the chasm that divides classes as a young girl struggles to come of age.

Vanaja (Mamatha Bhukya) is the 14 year-old daughter of a poor, low caste fisherman, struggling with dwindling catches and mounting debt. When a sooth-sayer predicts that she will be a great dancer one day, she goes to work in the house of the local landlady, Rama Devi (Urmila Dammannagari), in hopes of learning Kuchipudi dance while earning a keep.
She is hired as a farmhand, and her vivacious ways and spunk soon catch the landlady’s eye: when she is entrusted with tending the chicken, she’s caught, instead, chasing them into a general pandemonium, and lying unabashedly to conceal her pranks. Sexual chemistry is ignited between Shekhar and Vanaja (still a minor at 15), as flirtation and innuendo bloom. But, the situation suddenly turns ugly when Vanaja’s superior intellect pits her against Shekhar in a public incident which ultimately humiliates him in front of his mother. Matters escalate, spiraling downwards and she is pitched into a tale of class, family and animus from which there is only one escape.

Today is a looooong day for me since i will be workin from 9am-9pm!!!! To make matters worse, my stupid new pc is giving me problems!! So now i have to squeeze myself n sit on the floor and use the old pc?!!Reason being, its inside this small storage room(imagine those small storerooms in those masionette flats). So now i have to run out when any one comes in and keep a look out!!! On the flip side, at least the internet is working!! :)

Its soo strange but e internet connection is working in the new pc as i can actually log in to msn messenger but im unable to open up any page?!!!Beats me?! Its goin to be tough later as i susupect that the evening class will be full...:( Alot of newcomer r popping in too, which means i have alot to key in.:(

Oh btw i finally went to the BUddha tooth relic temple yesterday. ITs soooo beautiful & soo rich in colour!!! I experienced a great sense of peace when i was inside.ahhhhhhhhh..... I think it has 5 storeys. With that little time i had, i tried my best in visiting whatever i could.Its definitely a rich temple man!They have 100 kutti buddha statutes around it and exquiste buddha statutes from all over e globe on display. I really need to go back n take a relaxed walk around the temple and soak it all in. :p

Hopefully i get to run home early coz Supernatural is last episode on ch 5 today!Oh.. i juz saw e ad that LOST 3 is back!!!On sundays..gd...:)after Ugly betty!

The tix for the first day show at GV yishun has been sold out!!! I think by now even e weekends tix should be out too!!I have never seen such large crowds 4 any movie..hopefully e mv lives up to everyonez expectations..

Btw check out the kool looking SIVAJI bus @ chennai. It seems there was a huge q to board this bus...

Temple tour

Workin on saturday was quite strange.It would have been better if moteh wasnt around. Ihad to rush to little india as i was gettin late in meeting my makkals. CBD areas r soo eeerie during the weekends. I only saw foreign workers everywhere..

Anyways my poor sis ended up comin so early..i/we had a wonderful time bringing my expat colleagues to all 3 different temples?!! They were very sporting and even lit up "vilaku' for mahalakshmi!!!heheheh.. they all had holy ash & kumkum on forehead chooo chweeet nah..:)

We had up wet, sticky & hungry after that tour....we ended our day by having a scrumptious dinner at a north indian restaurant.. yummy..

i guess that was the first time i was at tekka so late...1040pm?!!! It gets scary at night man..too many indian men w beedis lurking around...URGH!I had a hard time hailing cab! eventually imy sis had to book & ended up paying an astronomical amount as i was caught in a stupid JAM!!!! Juz my luck lor!:(
In short a fun day which ended a bit pricey!!!

anyways my bro is goin to catch the first day & first show of SIVAJI ?!!!:(I have to refrain myself from hearng the story from him be4 i see it!anyways i dun think he will be able to hear anything from all those screaming fans....kekekekek

They have started the bookin of Sivaji in chennai on sunday.
Just check out the queue. It began at 5am!!! The counter was opened at 615am! 2 weeks worth of tix have been SOLD OUT!!!This seems to be THE first time that this has happened in Tamilnadu movie history?!hmmm... not sure whether there is any pre booking down here?!
