Aayirathil Oruvan Review - Did i Like It?

Been waiting 2 looong years to see this flick.
So was it worth all the wait?
YES IT IS!!!!!!
Karthi was choooooo cuute in it!!!! His entrance itself was unique! He is a natural man!Im sure he is going to earn more fans from this.
Reema was surprisingly good! She looked cool with the guns and fights. She looked gorgeous in those traditonal costumes.
Andrea was good too, would like to see more of her.
The CGI work is awesome for a tamil movie!!! A fantastic and remarkable attempt by the Selvaraghavan team. It was very obvious that they went through alot alot pain and hardwork to achieve this kind of work.
Partiban was the special surprise package. Although i dun really fancy him he was sooo apt for the role. It was quite unimaginable to think of another replacement.
The costumes of Partiban was soo detailed.
Now the Flaws:
The movie is looooong. Needs some urgent trimming. Would cut that MTV styled song. (can't remember the name) Trim the last part where the chozha team was tortured. The movie badly needs subtitles too!I can't believe that they did not think of that?!Not many people understands thus the mixed reviews! There were scenes whereby people did not get the jokes...there was even a guy behind me who was translating it to his friend!I had to listen to the dialogues carefully too. Even the storyline is complex to comprehend. Gosh! Its like i have to see it again to understand it. The CGI works was very obvious at times too:( well then again its really unfair ro expect a Hollywood standard.
The violence was high in this movie so its not for the faint hearted.
I would strogly recommend everyone (above 16) to watch this movie. Only then such attempts will be remade again. Hats off! Selva!

POngalo pOngal pOngalo POngal.....

I took leave to celebrate Pongal. To assist the people at home and to catch up on the special programs on TV..kekek...

As like everytime, there was alot squabbling & and arguments but eventually everything went down well:) The only thing i hated most was the somberi at home who did not lift a bloody finger to help out!Urgh!!

For a change, i took a couple of pix..check dem out.. im feeling super damn full. I was planning to go for a second round...i doubt i can enough space for puliyodare...:(

Oh ya, tomorrow i would be involved in a sports activity at my work place. I'm hoping that my team mates turnup for the event and don't leave me in the lurch! I pretty much know that my team won't go to the next level as it doesn't have alot "on" people! To make it even worse, i would be playing against my own manager! hmmm... not sure if its a good thing or a bad one!hahahha....

Wish me luck people!

Happy Maatu(Kaana) & Kanni POngal..........MoooOOOooooooo

80s Flicks....

Watching old movies are such a joy.. it relieves your childhood memories and appreciate good scripts(in both ways!)... 80s heroines can give the present gals a run for their $$$!!!They are soo sexy and daring! Take Mahdevi for an instance... she is sooo beautiful, sexy and very fashion conscious...love her man!Check out e flicks i saw....

Only saw kamal's scenes.. not my fave movie.

I remember spoiling the VHS after watching it umpteen times....so overjoyed when i saw e vcd!

A classic suspense thriller! Guess it would have been apt if they had taken it now... then again.. they had alot of daring scenes than manmadhan!!!

Crap crap movie! Great songs tho!

TIK TIK TIK-
Another flick is fantabulos songs! Check out Mahdevi in BIKINI!! woo hoo! Even nayan wasn't this daring! So y did everyone made a hoo ha over that!Another impt point, Kamal will be roaming around in his undies for almost 10-15mins!! Tell me which hero is willing to do that now! They are just busy mouthing one liner dialogues!

One of my most fave flicks... its such a happy film...Both Sathyaraj n Prabhu just walked through their characters...Great chemistry!!!
