My less than 1 month sandals just gave up on me this morning!!!!:(
Now i have to limp my way home?!!!sigh..
resignation blues...
I literally had to run after my boss as she did not get back to me since my tender of resignation!!
I was sooo confused.. about my leave & my actual last day.
I just did not want to leave abruptly. I just wanted to have pleasant farewell. It was really difficult to make the decision to move on as i have colleagues here who really care about me but this whole experience has left me bitter.:(
Finally i met up with my boss yesterday after exactly 8 days after my tender!! Strangely, the meeting went by really well. Sadly, i don't have that much leave as i had to take forced leave?!Unfair right?I am planning to relax before i embark on a whole new career phase?! The meeting ended well as she told me that i am always welcomed to join back?!!sigh....
So for now my last day is on Oct 5th.. Or it might change to 4th..i have to wait till next mon to get the exact confirmation.I am going to have a lot of starting trouble as i like the working style here.
My new working place is always pin drop silence?!!!I die without music..I just cant't work like that. I need to come up with a plan..ITS full of manjanz too.. After working with europeans it will be totally different for me?!!!:)
Anyways couple of my friends are going through a rough patch now.. so its been a tough week for me..
Hopefully everything ends well by this week!

Book Review
Eat Pray Love
By-Elizabeth Gilbert
This was actually passed to me by a wonderful student. She wanted me to read it and experience the joy of it.thanks!:)
Its actually about Elizabeth's trip to 3 different countries.
How & why she decided to do this after her ugly divorce. How she overcame her depression & felt nearer to GOD although her family were free-thinkers.How she ended being a different person at theend of it.
First she goes to Italy. To learn Italy of course?!She eats & relishes thedelicacies there.
Secondly, she goes to India & stays in an ashram to pray & finds herself.
Finally, she goes to Bali to meet an old medicine man but end up falling in love with man much older than her!!!
Very interesting & funny at times...Its not a complicated book to comprehend.
Now im reading somethin else... its a heavy read..something which i have been craving to read...its just that its quite difficult for me to understand some things coz i can't really imagine it... Its called "Autobiography of a yogi" by yogi paramanadasa.
i will definitely send my review when i finally finish it!!!
I jus dunno when, i keep dozing off when i read it in the train?!yikes!!!!

Tongue-tied..
few days ago.....
I attended an interview at medical college, it was one of the worst experience i had?!!The place was lookin soooo old.... stinky. While waiting to be served , i noticed that the front desk people were rude?!!as in R-U-D-E!!How can a customer service staff be rude to the walk in customers? There wasn't any form of gretting exchanged.... I was so proud of myself?!! I mean i would win the best staff every month if i were to work there?!!!!No boasting but i think i do great job in customer service... sometimes i even go the extra mile to help them.:)I can strongly say that there isnt any anti-sara here..kekekekek.. hopefully...
Teh so called interviewer did not stand up when i walked in, did not even shake my hand?!!!Grrrrrrrr.. She looked like one ah soh...who has been warming up her seat for years...
To think she asked about my experience in the SAF which i left many yrs ago?!!!Ridiculous... i think she can't see anything beyond civil sector?!!That bloody interview lasted 5mins?!!!crap!
I was sooo pissed i took a cab!!(dunno where the station also la!)That trip costed me $17.50?!!!waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........i almost cried!
Parise the lord, i gotta a call from JOBDB for a 2nd interview?!!!yeah.....
Rushed there & talked to the gal whom i might work with. Met up with the MD?!!!friendly man but he insisted that i should go to sales line?!!!That was a great compliment but i just din't feel ready for it?!!!He feels that i will be wasted in the admin line?!he could see my hidden talent.. I told him that im not sure about it but thanked him....hmmm....alot of interviewers has expressed that i could excel in sales?!!!hmmm.. mayebi talk too much in interviews?!!!U know 2 of my other interviews lasted 1hr each?!!!
Then later i met with the manager who was kinda impressed with me.. employed I GOT THE JOB?!!!!!!!!!!!
They want me to start as early as possible.. so which means i will be workin on my birthday?!!!
Now, i have to calculate my leave..
I have finally mustered e courage to inform my staff ... so now she will tell my boss.. lets see what happens....strangely, im soo sad about leaving this place..im already MISSING IT!

everything else..
Strange but everyone else seems to be leaving except me..kekek,,another 1 of our staff is leaving...whom i dint really expect to.
As for me, i have never enountered so many phone calls in just 1 week for attending interviews. So far i have attended 2 and rejected a couple of them. (juz in a week!)Hopefully i get better offers?!:)People seems to empathise with me when i tell them the reason to leave. Not quite i expected.heheheh..I even offered them to come down to my place but just pretend that they dun know me at all..hahahahah
I just realised that we a have a hypocrite at my workplace?!!!manjantchi!I was just told to watch my back!Guess this waht happens when you have to work with more people!
Btw i just had a small spat with my sis,as usual after a couple of shouting ,bawling and some accusations, everything was resolved?!!!hahahah..thats e way WE do it! People usually envy me or vice verse that i/she has a sister but they have no idea what actually happens between us?!kekek...You see thats e part & parcel of having sisters.
Im sure my sis or anyone who has a sister agrees on this?!
Oh.. my friend has a lon-going 'love probelm'... will talk about that soon...:) now i have to resume work..
P.S: heard there was another earthquake at Sumatra.. oh dear....It seems some buildings over here were slightly swaying.. just imagine the plight at Indonesia

My weekend...
http://www.musicindiaonline.com/music/patriotic/s/album.1052/language.11/
Anyways i was actually ditched, abandoned, forgotten by a wonderful friend of mine?!!! I was planning for this rendezvous for a long time... Coz both of us were busy with one thing or the other.. so i texted her on saturday to meet me after class since im usually free on sundays....
I became suspicious since my wonderful friend did not reply to any of my msg?!! Its a good thing that i did not leave the mrt station and waited like a sotong?!!! I board the adjacent train when she did not pick my call?!!ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... To think i took the extra effort of dressing up well & rushed there....(i normally dress up well but i wore extra nice clothes!)
I just received a msg that she just WOKE UP?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!How infuriating?!! I just hate when people do this to me?!! Dunno whether you are reading this, but im surely pissed!:(Bad gal!

Pavarotti dies...
ROME - Luciano Pavarotti, opera's biggest superstar of the late 20th century, died Thursday. He was 71. He was the son of a singing baker and became the king of the high C's.
Pavarotti, who had been diagnosed last year with pancreatic cancer and underwent treatment last month, died at his home in his native Modena at 5 a.m., his manager told The Associated Press in an e-mailed statement.
His wife, Nicoletta, four daughters and sister were among family and friends at his side, manager Terri Robson said.
"The Maestro fought a long, tough battle against the pancreatic cancer," Robson said. "In fitting with the approach that characterised his life and work, he remained positive until finally succumbing to the last stages of his illness."

Anyways i always enhoy shoppping at IKEA but the thought of going back home just gives me the shudders....Its such a loooong trip.... You have to walk like 10 mins to get over to the bus stop and just wait n wait till you see the bus. As expected, one bus left without stopping and the other which came along was super packed?!!! We waited till the sun started setting!sigh... Finally we made a decision of boarding 961 since its last stop is at wood lands interchage. Its better than sitting there & rotting!Agree?

I had a wonderful time spending my sat evening at my working colleagues apartment!heheheh..Before you go..hmmmmmm... alot of us were invited over to have a get together... So everyone of us bought food.. it was great...My sis made Pav bhaaji which went on to became famous..kekekekek..I had indian, mexican, thai, pizzas & salads all in one nite...The Only thing i refrained from was alcohol...:) Dun think i want to make a fool of myself in front of so many people....In all it was an enjoyable evening..
Anyways i read that kalaimaamani awards were given away last week... It went to people who outrageoulsy did not deserve it at all... Vishal, Jayam ravi, jeeva, Silambarasan & trisha?!!!!eeerrrrrr..... I dun think the guys have even 10 movies to their names..They have not accomplished that much in their career.. or is it because they are filmi backgrounds?!Only Silambarasan might fit into the bill as he has been acting since tender age & even directed a movie recently. To think A. Sagunthala (old-timer) was just awarded after so many years of acting?!!!Unjustifiable!Where is tamil cinema heading... its becoming another bollywood where where every upcoming star has a filmi background!!!!So what happens to talented folks?!
By the way, wish me luck for my meeting later!
