Excerpts from Johnny depp interview..

You've worked with, or are going to work with, 2 of Asia's biggest stars, Chow Yun Fat and Amitabh Bachchan. I actually spoke to Amitabh Bachchan and he spoke very highly of you. He's a huge fan. Can you tell me a little bit more about them and what it's like to work with them?

They were great, you know. The difference is that these guys have just come into this huge family, which has kind of been together since 2003, when we did the first one. These guys came in and just owned everyone instantly; they were just so down to earth and so good at what they do. Chow Yun Fat, he's a very, very nice man, and a great artist and actor. He's a real experience, you know. He's a very unique individual, he's a very special guy.

And Amitabh, on the sets of Shantaram?

Well, that I'm looking forward to. We haven't, you know, we haven't come into that. Mira Nair is going to be at the helm of Shantaram, so we'll see with Amitabh, how it goes. I'm truly excited.

I had a painful start this morning... somethin went into my eye!!It was damn irritable & painful. I couldnt even close my eye properly.URGH... to think i had to stand all the way till dhoby ghaut!! URGH!!!There isnt any pharmacy ard my workplace let alone a shop being open before 8am....Thankfully 711 sells eye mo! i feel so much beter now..or it would have juz gone worst!speaking of it, let me go and apply eye mo now..kkekekeek

Juz heard from moteh that we have sales targets now!!!Basically i HATE doing sales let alone reaching targets. I was quite pleased that i dint have to do it all along..too many drastic changes man.. maybe its time i dust my cvs and start sending..My colleague is doin pretty well so i dun think any one will miss me here.The only misgivings they will have is to spend money in sourcing out a new staff..

i made a HUGE mistake by eating mangose be4 i went to bed last nite.. coz i ended up feeling all awake .... and my tummy was hurting. sob.. sob.anyways i was plannin to catch a mv today..since that is cancelled.. hopefully i wil be able to get e tix tomorrow..cross finger..

Xclusive Kollywood team @ Cannes pix!!!

I was really pissed that i was unable any pix of e Shankar team at Cannes!!!! Why r south indian films are not getting their dues?!!!Hmph! The paparazzi were more keen to snap pix of ash n aby when they arrived.(read as ASH only!) To think they dint even turn up for their premiere..

I dun think the director would have imagined taht he will nominated.. let alone give a speech about his movie!!! If only more tamil films were selected...i think both "paruthiveeran" & "pallikodam" was rejected. Not coz they were not gd coz i think they dint want another movie tamil movie. There were 9 indian movies that were nominated. All in different languages.

i really have to thank behindwoods in getting this pix.. way to go!

its been a while since i sat down n wrote here. i have been so busy at work and busy shopping too. My cousin bro is getting married next week!!!! Its been a while since i attended any wedding.In fact its THE first wedding at my maternal side. Strangely there isnt any for of excitement from the family. i have been busy shoppin fro my sari,jewelleries,accessories, etc.. etc.. In fact my bank balance has dangerously reduced!!! :( I lost count the no. of trips i made to tekka this month!!I really need to look great at the wedding.. coz usually i look like a sore thumb! usually im coerced to weaer things thati dun like or perform things that i dun fancy!!! Well i'l have to wait n c what happens next week!!!

My work load has drastically increased but my salary is still stagnant!!! I have to say that my colleague is really fortunate as she only works half a day!In fact e ppl r really nice to her. My early days were just horrible!!!My job title mentions admin cum recep but looks like they have to add another appt too(most important) sales!!! Now we have to maintain our sales records!!! oh dear!!More recordings, more work.. y no increase in salary!!!:(

GSS is goin to start tomorrow, looksl like i have to wait till my pay day!!! I sound soo middle class leh...I think i should target a rich (gd lookin of course!!!) paiyan to sponsor all my expenses..kekekekek

i juz dunno y i have been feelin lethargic lately...my eyes looks as if i need sleep badly...hmmm.... maybe coz i dint sleep well.... i had this horrible nightmare.....sob.. u know i dun really have nightmares...this was soo real..diz morning my sis complained thati disturbed her sleep by moaning out aloud in my sleep!!!!!If only my sis had wake me up!!!! I would have escaped e horror of going thru it.

i told her it WAS HER!!!i was actually calling out to my sis in my dream!!!!So weird na?I juz dunno what diz stupid nightmare is all about... but i really need to make a visit to ANJI (aanjineyar). I was praying hard calling out his name..in my dream...hmmm... dreamz never actually makes sense..hopefully things will sail smoothly...

Anyways today was Rebecca's 40th Bday!!! She is e THE first person i have given a gift to at my workplace.Hopefully my manager doesnt mind that(i dint give him anything la...)Had a wonderful lunch at annalakshmi.. still feelin full...

Juz last saturday i went to watch "Krisnaarpanam" which was showcased by TFA. It was FANTASTIC!!!! :) I actualy brought along 3 of my velaikaara(tchi) colleagues. Im so glad that they LOVED it!Usually the white tend to appreciate my customs & culture compared to our OWN people?!!!Actually some of my frens were not keen in comin... i think they would rather c a "mattamaana" tamil mv in the screens(which is pathetic!)

Anyways i juz collected my sari blouse yesterday!!!! By GODS grace it turned juz e way i wanted it..yeah.. kinda regretting y i dint give a deep plunging neck line...maybe next time then...i really liked my sis blosue... very sweet n sexy..kekekek...

I finally went to Saravana bhavan. I dint eat but was told that e food was juz medicore.(guess they ordered e wrong meal...)Shopping was great but tiring... y?coz shopping after work juz sux!!!V dint have sufficient time!! V managed to get beauutiful lookin kurtis w mango motifs!!!!yeah..... Unfortuantely siva took super long to decide betwwen 2 kurtis!!!!URGH!!!!!The owner said she can sew salwaars (any design) hopefully i can transform my organza sari which is sleeping at home!!!!I have been waiting to sew that for a loooong time!!!!!into a tube salwaar...

A new vacuum cleaner salesman knocked on the door on the first house of the street.

A tall lady answered the door. Before she could speak, the enthusiastic salesman barged into the living room and opened a big black plastic bag and poured all the cow droppings onto the carpet.

"Madam, if I could not clean this up with the use of this new powerful vacuum cleaner, I will EAT all this s...!" exclaimed the eager salesman.

"Do you need chilly sauce or ketchup with that" asked the lady.
The bewildered salesman asked, "Why, madam?"

"There's no electricity in the house..." said the lady

MORAL: Gather all resources before working on any project...!!!

Self appraisal

A little boy went into a drug store, reached for a soda carton and pulled it over to the telephone. He climbed onto the carton so that he could reach the buttons on the phone and proceeded to punch in seven digits.

The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation: The boy asked, "Lady, can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?The woman replied, "I already have someone to cut my lawn."

"Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price of the person who cuts your lawn now," replied the boy. The woman responded that she was very satisfied with the person who was presently cutting her lawn.

The little boy found more perseverance and offered, "Lady, I'll even sweep your curb and your sidewalk, so on Sunday you will have the prettiest lawn in all of Palm Beach, Florida." Again the woman answered in the negative.

With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver. The store-owner, who was listening to all, walked over to the boy and said,
"Son . . . I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job."

The little boy replied, "No thanks, I was just checking my performance with the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!"

Yeah... its Friday!

Juz e other day i tried this delicious black glutinous dessert.... its sooooo gd man.. dun remember havin anythig like it.. coz i only have e below average onez near my place... how pathetic na... well this shop is at Amoy food centre.. Its actually a famous shop....i had that for breakfast....







Later on the same day i went to Maxwell food centre.. actually i dint even know its nearby till a few days ago...i had grilled fish w lemon sauce.. i mean for $5.50 its really gd..:) (i dun usually eat that much in a day!! kekekek.. guess i was really hungry that day!!!!)



Anyways yesterday i went ard the e tanjong pagar, maxwell, duncan,craig street... n many unkown places....i saw beautiful shophouses too..i have never been to this places be4.. so it was a great eye opening for me.... alot of kutti kutti shops...bridal shops and KTV lounges... i dint even know that there is a old school market at tanjong pagar?!!!! What a great contrast to all those tall buildings... oh dear.. im beginning to sound like a tourist here... :p
next time i shld carry a cam ard so i canpost all of dat online...

phew... feelin full after my lunch at annalakshmi.. luckily i managed to get a seat..
oh.. pretty excited abt the show tomorrow.... im bringing 3 of my ang moh instructors... hope they will love e show!!!!

Tears....So ppl cry yr Heart OUt!!:)

There was a study done where a control group of 100 people were divided into two. 50 people watched a very funny,tears-of-laughter-type movie. 50 watched a very sad and
tears-of-compassion-type movie.

At the end of the sessions researchers collected the 'happy tears' and the 'sad tears' with eye droppers. They found that 'happy tears' are made up of brine .. salt water and not a great deal else. However the 'sad tears' were found to contain the very same chemicals and enzymes that are found in tumours, ulcers and other such lumps and bumps and sicknesses throughout the body.

This test concluded that the body, when crying in sadness etc,is literally flushing out all of the toxic-chemicals that accumulate and are a part of the sadness / heartache experience. Therefore if one holds back those tears, those toxic-waters will find somewhere else to deposit themselves ... and prolonged lack-of-crying-release will guarantee that the body will accumulate a huge amount of internal pollution and toxicity that should have been released through the tears ......

Anyways u DUN have to BHakthiman to catch this. There is a fantastic performace by a couple. Its actaully a scene where Manmadhan n his wife are trying to bring LorD Shiva "into the mood". kekek.. Coz the celestial beings want Lord Shiva to have a son but that is not happening since he is in deep meditation...

lately i have been super busy....so many things to do.. most of dem were juz last minute stuffs.sigh...Whatever that i was tasked to do was required to be done asap!!!Tell me how am i going to do all of these on top of my daily tasks!! Whats more the "top management" have been making alot of adjustments/amendments in the last couiple of days?!!!URGH!!!!things r juz goin crazy here.. they make e changes n we endure e "sufferings"...

The new online software sucks?!!!!Its juz too time consuming n tedious... i made 2 mistakes n still dunno how t rectify it...:( need to talk it over w mote...hopefully he doesnt lose his cool over it...(cross fingers)

Yesterday i went to MM all alone.. since my sis refused to accompany me..sob...my feet r aching after walkin for sooo long ....No matter how many trips i make to MM i always have something to get there...i juz duno how u can actually NOT buy anything at MM and leave empty handed...hmmm....

Looks like i'll be having a looong discussion w mote n he will be stressing me NOT to make any MISTAKES anymore.... sigh.. sob... sooo sleepy man... wanna go home...i would have slept standing in the train...kekekekek....
