Naan Kadavul - My Say!

I had to wait 3 years to finally see it on the silver screen.

Since my sis opted out the last mintue i went to see it alone on a Saturday evening! I didn't really care about the big crowd coz i badly wanted to see it! The cinema hall had very few ladies in it. Wonder why? By the way its NC16 here!(violence!)

I am prety sure that alot of the scenes must have been edited out during the 3 year process. You really wonder why Bala took this long to make it as Arya does not appear much in it. He only has 1 page of dialogue in it. Most of it are in sanskrit, hindi, profound tamil and a little colloquial tamil.

As every of Bala's movie, there are no standard comedians in it.
Alot of unknown faces. He has even brought in disabled people to act in it. I have to say that the small boy was absolutely fantastic! He was the joker in it. There is even a song on disabled people. It will totally melt your heart. I was almost in tears in one scene of the movie.(not in this song)

Pooja was A-Ma-zING!!!If Priyamani had a Paruthi Veeran then Pooja as a Naan Kadavul!

Although Arya comes and goes in it. You can notice that he has put in sooo much of hard work in it.Fantastic expressions and body language. He even converses in a coarse tone .I can't believe that he is the same guy who appeared in "Oru Kalooriyin Kadai" & "Kalaba Kaadhalan". As he was pretty dead in expressions in these flicks.. Sorry, Arya!I am not sure if he will win any awards but i am sure that the industry will take note of him! Guess i did not go wrong in liking him!kekekek..

The movie will make you cringe, cry and laugh. Its not a movie recommended for the faint hearted. Bala has shown an unknown world by depicting the life of sanyasis, beggars and the ruthless abducters. It does get too realistic at times. So take note.

Reality IS stranger than fiction...

Hi Sara..its a good move to start a blog..all the very best and good luck too...

About the movie...Gees! it sucks...arya not in more than just a handful of screen shots,he speaks in dolby sound and it irks the nerves....wonder how an aghori has his hair all conditioned....limited expressions or rather just one that I could make out....overdose of beggar mafia instead of creating a feeling of sympathy and a need to do something about it, the film creates a disgusting feeling about the whole thing...

Anyways sure hard work but in vain though...dono how you will take my comment but trust me its honest...
