Thirakadha *ring Pritiviraj & Priyamani
My Recent Movie Marathon
Its been years since i caught a 3D movie and i simply looved it(except for the tix price tho!)
Jim Carey & Gary Oldman were A1 in it!!
Die Die Must See!
A remake of the original Telugu remake of Pokiri. Which was later directed in Tamil of course!
I have to admit that the telugi is a clear winner! Now i think the tamil version is better than this!
Salman is really old to suit this character.. you could see age is catching with him! He doesn't even look fresh!Errr... what with the bare chest moment in the end?!!! Hwo can a policeman fight tear away his shirt( that too, elegantly)?!!Would Salman die if he doesn't BARE?!!!Even his police outfit was stitched in way that it the pants were low and bell bottomed!!!
To think they are reviewing a sequel!!!!!CRAP!!!
Heard a lot about the flick.
Hats off to the entire team!
Although Jayam Ravi has NEVER been a favourite of mine, he nailed it this time!
Just wished he maintain this figure! He was looking yummy...hahhahaha
Tall, dark, toned and handsome..... I really have to give it to him for appearing in "komanam"!
Tell me, how many actors have appeared in one?I can only think of 2!
Lets welcome more such movies!
Die Die must Watch!
I dun have any fave actors in it but i just watched it for the hype it created.
Its absolutely unfair to see Lara swimming around in bikini while the rest of the male co-stars were draped in bermudas?!!HEELLLOOO!!! Women are watching it too!!! If they can show Lara im sure they could do it them too. To make it worse, Sanjay Dutt was in a bad shape! He was like mis-fit in it.
The saving grace was the spectacular stunts, beautiful underwater shots & AR Rahman music!

Yeah! I watched This Is it!
It was just yesterday that the annoucement was made for the This Is It move and its already out!
We booked teh tix online and catch the 1st day show in THX. It was pretty cool to watch it at The Cathay Grand.
Unlike my sis who was secretly sobbing away in teh darkness i was absolutely delighted, excited and ecstatic to see the most talked about concert of the world!
Michael looked exceptionally slim. He was wearing his shades through the clips. Despite all of these, he practically amazed me how 50 yr old could out dance the young dancers!!!!????
Michael made all of those people to eat their words! He was brilliantly showcasing his immaculate voice and mind-boggling dance movement. If you noticed, he even came up with quirky, innovtive dance moves. Its such a pity that the world has missed out on the World Biggest & Greatest Concert Ever!!! Who could come up with a 3D concert except the Genius Michael Jackson!
Media & the people can say anything they want but no one can deny his exceptional TALENT!!
Ohhh.. if listened clearly, you could hera Michael's "man" voice..kekekkekek.... I always wondered how it sounded .. so now i know.... its is very manly..hahahha,,,,wished he used that more often!
It was so fun wathcing it with the yesterday's audience. We were busy cheering and clapping and voiceout our love for Michael.
No matter wherever you are, We Love You Micheal...We always will

My Movie Marathon..:P,
Missed it at the cinemas..
Its sooooo much better than the Da Vinci Code movie. Altho i still adore the book u should still attempt to catch it:) Now, i need to purchase Dan Brown's latest novel!!
Altho they had many more historical characters i really missed President Roosevelt (played by Robin Williams). He did not appear much in it. The monkeys were funny tho..
I did not quite comprehend why one of my friend disliked this flick.
I loved the orginal in Malayalam. Well now i have to agree that the tamil version was a disappointment! Sakthi has been given more importance in the flick compared to Naren in the original. Guess he threatened the director that he won't act in it if he was not given equal songs footage to Prithivi?!!There were even lesser scenes between Prithivi & Priyamani. :(
If you ask me, catch me if you are real Prithivi fan (like me!) he was super HOT with those sexy triceps and biceps!yoowoo!
Exceeded my expectation. Although it was another typical masala tamil movie.. it was still good..
It was absolutely refreshing to see diferent comedians..Loved the hilarious comedy!!
Prabhu & Arun's combo has worked out so well... im soo glad that they did not kill Prabhu in the end!!
Go & Catch it!

TFA Stage Show - Damaru
2 weeks ago my school TFA organised a fantastic concert called Damaru.
It was an amazing musical journey . There was even a surprise dance performance which added the extra zest to it!!!The Shiva thaandavam was exhilarating!!!!
They brought in artists from India, Malaysia and from the local buddhist oragnisation and Symphony.
Needless to say, theshow ended with a thunderous standing ovation applause!!!
Way to go TFA!
I tried uploading couple of the numbers they performed but the sound system isn't great. Kindly purchase the original from the TFA office to appreciate their hardwork.

Madonna's Tribute To Michael Jackson in MTV Video Music Awards
Michael Jackson. [Cheers] I have a little bit more to say than that. OK, here we go again. Michael Jackson was born in August 1958. So was I. Michael Jackson grew up in the suburbs of the Midwest. So did I. When Michael Jackson was six, he became a superstar, and was perhaps the world’s most beloved child. When I was six, my mother died. I think he got the shorter end of the stick. I never had a mother, but he never had a childhood. And when you never get to have something, you become obsessed by it.
I spent my childhood searching for my mother figures. Sometimes I was successful, but how do you recreate your childhood when you are under the magnifying glass of the world?
There is no question that Michael Jackson is one of the greatest talents the world has ever known. That when he sang a song at the ripe old age of eight he could make you feel like an experienced adult was squeezing your heart with his words. That when he moved he had the elegance of Fred Astaire and packed the punch of Muhammad Ali. That his music had an extra layer of inexplicable magic that didn’t just make you want to dance but actually made you believe you could fly, dare to dream, be anything that you wanted to be. Because that is what heroes do and Michael Jackson was a hero.
He performed in soccer stadiums around the world, and sold hundreds of millions of records and dined with prime ministers and presidents. Girls fell in love with him, boys fell in love with him, everyone wanted to dance like him. He seemed otherworldly — but he was a human being.
Like most performers he was shy and plagued with insecurities. I can’t say we were great friends, but in 1991 I decided I wanted to try to get to know him better. I asked him out to dinner, I said “My treat, I’ll drive — just you and me.”
He agreed and showed up to my house without any bodyguards. We drove to the restaurant in my car. It was dark out, but he was still wearing sunglasses.
I said, “Michael, I feel like I’m talking to a limousine. Do you think you can take off your glasses so I can see your eyes?”
Then he tossed the glasses out the window, looked at me with a wink and a smile and said, “Can you see me now? Is that better?”
in that moment, I could see both his vulnerability and his charm. The rest of the dinner, I was hellbent on getting him to eat French fries, drink wine, have dessert and say bad words. Things he never seemed to allow himself to do. Later we went back to my house to watch a movie and sat on the couch like two kids, and somewhere in the middle of the movie, his hand snuck over and held mine.
It felt like he was looking for more of a friend than a romance, and I was happy to oblige. In that moment, he didn’t feel like a superstar. He felt like a human being.
We went out a few more times together, and then for one reason or another we fell out of touch. Then the witch hunt began, and it seemed like one negative story after another was coming out about Michael. I felt his pain, I know what it’s like to walk down the street and feel like the whole world is turned against you. I know what it’s like to feel helpless and unable to defend yourself because the roar of the lynch mob is so loud you feel like your voice can never be heard.
But I had a childhood, and I was allowed to make mistakes and find my own way in the world without the glare of the spotlight.
When I first heard that Michael had died, I was in London, days away from the start of my tour. Michael was going to perform in the same venue as me a week later. All I could think about in this moment was, “I had abandoned him.” That we had abandoned him. That we had allowed this magnificent creature who had once set the world on fire to somehow slip through the cracks. While he was trying to build a family and rebuild his career, we were all passing judgement. Most of us had turned our backs on him. In a desperate attempt to hold onto his memory, I went on the internet to watch old clips of him dancing and singing on TV and on stage and I thought, “my God, he was so unique, so original, so rare, and there will never be anyone like him again. He was a king.”
But he was also a human being, and alas we are all human beings and sometimes we have to lose things before we can appreciate them. I want to end this on a positive note and say that my sons, age nine and four, are obsessed with Michael Jackson. There’s a whole lot of crotch grabbing and moon walking going on in my house. And, it seems like a whole new generation of kids have discovered his genius and are bringing him to life again. I hope that wherever Michael is right now he is smiling about this.
Yes, Michael Jackson was a human being but he was a king. Long live the king.
