Saturday...
Thankfully, it was a quiet but coooold Saturday duty.
Can't believe that Mac Big Breakfast lasted me throughout the day!
Was scheming to drop by Bugis to get a much delayed pressie for my bro but ended up venturing somewhere else! I did go to Bugis but had a cute company with me...kekekke.. I tagged along with my colleague to the Quan Yin temple! yes.. u read it clearly. I have been hearing soo much about it that i pounced on it when i heard my colleague's plan to visit the temple.
I have to admit that it was a tad bit embarrassing to follow someone who is not even a local!
Paiseh! Paiseh! What to do..i still follow lor!hhahah...
It was extremely humid and the temple was packed with devotees. As instructed by my colleague, i bought a lotus, burnt the incenses and prayed. Later i took the "stuffs" to pray. The temple has a special way of praying. You are supposed to ask your prayers and drop 2 identical pieces and one has to face up the other down. You can only try 3x. After that you gotta shake a container with sticks till one of it drops and you have to throw the identical pieces again to check if the stick dropped was meant for you. Then you have to present it to the counter who will issue with a receipt with profound meanings. You can refer it through a book. Which was still profound!!!!
I was a bit like a blur sotong.. think i will be more aware when i visit the next time. Must bring my khakis there!
After that trip i went to class, shopped in chinatown and MM.. so exhausting man...
Much to my dismay, my cousins turn up very laaaaaaaate......haiz.... dun think i will go out with them for a loon time... such habitual latecomers....
There is more to write but i think i will stop here.. gotta iron my clothes...
The biggest joke of today, my so called daddy suspected if i smoke! What a joke!

Over The Weekend.....
Pretty upsetting that another colleague of mine has left the company. So its just left with me alone. (the old team) Its sorta depressing when i think about it so i try not to dwell on it.
We had a small farewell gathering which was soo hilarious. Had a fuuuuull meal at Handburger and later gorged ourselves with some Japanese tarts and tea:)
Another khaki of mine has been hinting about leaving and i believe it might just occur anytime soon.sob..sob..Why are all my fave buddies leaving me behind?
Anyways im very pleased that i can opt out of the paatu exam. It was eating at me for months...Thank GOD! I feel soo at peace now. So the most important thing for me to do now is PRACTICE PRACTICE & PRACTICE!!!Im so lazy and tired after work that i am too lethargic to pick it up!
Strange, that it always happens to us. My sis & i ventured all the way to to find a makan place and found out that it was closed down!!!!To make up for it, we ate somewhere better:)
Then another sad news, the kurti i ordered online and sooo looking forward to was out of stock!!! Damn!It has to be mine!sob..sob.. The flip side, my bro paid for it so now i just refunded it to him!kekekke.....(dun owe him anything now!)
I was itching for a haircut.. for a looong time. All that colouring and highlighting has totally destroyed my roots:( I was scheming for a super short hairdo. Ala Vic Beckham or Priyanka Chopra hairstyle. Unfortunately, it turned out nothing like it! Its pretty short at the back.. they say its looks very manjan..sob..sob.. Now i have gotten used to it. Since my hair is very wavy it looks pretty alright now. I just gotta style it every time i go out. I feel much lighter now. Now i have to wait and see how my frens react....holding breath...
Its going to be March tomorrow and i am pretty tensed about my workplace. A big event is coming up soon and i am crossing both my hands & toes that i won't get dragged in it since I'm the last man standing!
Oh ya! I happen to bump into another gallery.. is an open gallery by NAFA.. i really love the idea of walking about art galleries and admiring peeps artworks and creations..pretty cool na?I should do that more often!:)
Tata...feeling sooo exhausted... and hot... and full...nitez..nitez...

My CNY Holidays...
My CNY holidays was getting boring at home so i decided to do something about it!
Besides sleeping & waking up late, i crammed my days catching films. Indian, English, Chinese, Japanese.. u name it...
Not willing to waste it even more, i happen to visit the museums.. yes the.. musuems...i always loved goin but was too lazy to move m y lardy ass...haahah....i happen to visit 2 museums at 2 different dates.
Hobbled down to the Peranakan Museum.
Seriously, i have never heard of this place till recently...yikes!To think, its situated somewhere near City Hall... Its a lovely building:) The info counter staff were not so helpful but we found our way around the place.
Since it was a Friday, the admission is only $3! Not bad, most of the exhibits were from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam & so on... not much from India.
After our tour, we made it down to Lau Pau Sat for our dinner. Mine sucked but the rojak was delicious! Sort of finished the whole plate!hahahah
Enjoyed the night out!
I was eagerly awaiting to catch this exhibition. I simply loooove Mughals jewels... they are just sooo exquisite and beauutiful...
To my added luck, the museums were on open house yesterday!!yeah.....
The jewels were unimaginably unbelieveably awesome! Soo much of detailed craftsmanship was used in those jewels. Even the swords & daggers are bejwelled! I was totally bedazzled.
I visited many of the other exhibits too. Looved the SOuth Asian gallery which showcased the artefacts from India especially South India. I was almost on the verge of fainting of hunger so i quickly snapped the pix and left ..I think i left out a gallery! So wasted!:(
Had a laaaate lunch & early dinner at a place called soupelicous i think at City Link...It was goood..:)should make another trip there!
One more pending visit to the museum, the Egyptian artefacts...Im coooming....
