Today i attended a meeting for almost 2hrs & left feeling like a sotong???!!

Im still coming in terms with all the terms.. & im expected to grasp everything as quickly as i can..:( u see , everything is quick & fast here.. time is $$ here.. im beginning to feel that i chose the wrong organization to work. I'm just testing the water now..

I have been tasked alot of things to so..but they dun teach you anything.. you have to go around & ask people to teach YOU!! which sucks of course!!! I need to disturb someone tomorrow..:(

Anyways, there is going to be a family day retreat at sentosa next week & im trying to escape from it. As im still not in the list.U gotta stay over at the hotel with your colleagues.. man.. i HATE that..:(

My deepavali celebrations

Firstly, happy deepavali to all my indian makkals!!!!!

Im so sorry tat i didn't any get to send greeting to so many of you. My pc was unplugged for days..& i was busy too cleaning up.. there are too many violations & my workplace so, its difficult for me to even surf although im always on net.

The preparation for deepavali was super hectic..you can say ..pretty much everything was last minute. I couldnt participate much as i was workin & its already dark by the time i reach home...sob.. i did not make murruku this time..did not even wash the house..:(

By Vicky's grace, i managed to get a leave on friday(no-pay) last week!!yeah....i was super exhausted.. coz i slept ard 3am on wed nite & woke up 6+ n dint sleep through the day!!dun think i would survived if i was working!! I managed to catch all the nice programmes on tv this time..thank god!!:)

I have finished visiting my usual "guest houses". My relatives will be dropping by this weekend..enna nadake porutho..:)

oh.. my sis & i made some mouth-watering dishes yesterday...looks like we did alot more than required...kekke.. its always exhausting cooking so many dishes.. but fulfilling.

happened to attend my buddy's D & D... It was great fun.. friendly people.. but i kinda felt that i was enjoyed it more than my fren.. who was not soo spontaneous....kekke..took some snaps..oh. ot was held at Meritus Mandarin

Im on duty today. So finally got the chance to blog today.Been really busy ya... its soo ironic that i can't even blog when i am using the internet the whole time at work.

It was great meetin up with the ladies last sat. Saw namesake.. gd movie but a wrong choice in borrowing it that day.. i would have preferred a comedy tho..left their apt at 11pm since they were getting all droopy on me..kekkek..

There was a mini bday celebration at my workplace for all the oct babies.I had to give a brief intro about myself n perform a dumb stunt. Which was to eat a lontong(i despise that!) out of a plate wthout using my hands infront of 20 odds ppl?!!URGH!?!!!i did it but ate something else?!!There was a lousy catering which was not up to my taste..sigh... oh.. how i miss my annalakshmi here.... my north indian thaali is just calling me....sigh... i need to run over on sun n say hi to all of them....but dun think my khakis will be there:(

i was told that i will be doin alot marketing stuff soon. I would be even helping out in web marketing next month.. as teh staff will be away on leave.. to begin with i dun even understand her work?!!(

Im still getting used to the culture here:( they are soo "china" man.. till now, people dun really interact with me.. wonder whats going to happen later as we will be goin out to IMM for a celebration.

need help, next week i will be workin on wed,fri & sat?!!no rest!! 1 of the guy here offered to swap his sat with me. since i won't be calling any1 over on sat shld i turn down his offer.hmmm.... My yoga colleagues might not be able to come over to my place for deepavali too since they are working on sun.crap... its goin to be hard man... unfortunately i can't call any1 over on the actual day...the month of deepavali is always a trying time for me.. i dun been work.. jus loads of bad luck & dealing with insesitive people!!hopefully everything will turn out well this year..

I have been called for a d&d tomorrow by my friend.. but ... i desperately need a tube.. shit..can't imagine myself wearing a bareback halterneck,with a very open front dress..hmm.....

My deepavali shopping is nowhere finished...grrrr....

yawn.. my 2nd sat at work..so exhausted...as i haven't been sleeping well.. I tend to wake up in the middle of night..i have no idea y?!!

yawn.. it was mistake on my part for wanting to go to tekka...i had to feel the fever ya.but the journey itself cost me to squirm..45mins to little india?!!!It was already dark when we finished our dinner.. btw saras we went to Gokul?!!!hahahahahh
It was such a quickie deepavali shoppin ever!!!It was almost 10 by the time i reached home..crap!! JE is just sooo away from everything... as my colleague commented.. its soo"china"

Its such a whole different world here. Tanjong pagar was more livelier & colourful.. in many aspects..people are just too reserved too. Im still getting used to the work culture here.Now i understand how a foreigner or a foreign educated person feels.It sucks.. at times...Why isit soo hard for people to come out of their shell & interact to others..sigh..I even my saw MD & manager interacting in chinese...if only colette to see that..heheheheh..As i was warned..corporate world is jus soo different.. lets see whether its my cup of tea..

Anyways i was at NTU yesterday to brand my company.NTU is soo lonely & FAR....The response was.. how shall i put it... POOR... at least the food wasn't soo bad..kekekek.. the lousy part was, we had to carry the stuffs back n go back to office to work!!!sob..

okie.. me need to get back to work...i guess... its soo nice to have so little people here...excited to meet the lovely ladies later..

Vijayadasami

Since it was vijayadasami i bought my usual stuffs to see my teacher & get her blessings.:)

I had t say that she was beaming with so much of joy & laughter. Looks like she received great response from people who watched her students performance!!! She praised us too...yeah...

I apologised to her as i couldnt tie sari but she brushed it aside & replied that she totally understood my prediacment. To my utter surprise, she replied that she was soo jubliant when she realised that i rushed over for the performance. Tears just welled up in her eyes.....hahahha.. i was literally flying man....

I taut she was upset with me but infact she was immensley glad that took great efforts to rush over?!!!Ahhhhhhhhhh.. what a great feeling na? Sunday was THE only day where i had some rest but my laundry is monting over my laundry bin. Ops!!

Deepavali is just 2 weeks away & i still haven gone over Tekka..Shit!! I need to bask into the deepavali mood man... Me goin for lunch at 130pm..the clouds look great.. hope its doesnt rain like in the morning...
